What is Kids Art Club?
Our kids art club invites children aged 5 - 14 years who love to get creative with paints, crafts, paper and more!
Our studio isn't the place for the perfect Picasso, this is a space where the children are encouraged to have fun exploring hands-on projects using their imagination and creativity, meet new friends and find calm creating and building confidence whilst working on their own unique pieces each week. We aim for progress over perfection with of course a touch of mess!
Each week the children will explore a new creative experience, building skills by using different materials (craft, clay, painting, paper and collage) and tools.

Each week brings new experiences, skills & creations
Each week, there will be a new theme, encouraging imagination and creativity with a new hands-on creation to be made.
The studio space is within a relaxed environment, allowing the students to create through a variety of art forms at their own pace with calm guidance where we strive for progress over perfection.
Kids art club is a space for those who have a creative side, a vast imagination and who love art. It is an after school activity that takes us away from the screens and into a world where imagination and creativity is encouraged and self expression, confidence and beautiful unique art work grows!
Facilitator
Hi there artists, I am Mel and when I am not in my dance and fitness studio, you will find me spending time being creative in another art form. Whether that be acrylic painting, pottery, or crafting with my three beautiful children and their nan. Honestly, I am no professional in this area however I understand how important it is to enjoy those things in life where there is no pressure, no perfection, only joy and a sense of achievement when you finish a unique piece of art that has come straight from the imagination and the heart.
We invite the children of Colac and surrounds to join us for some fun, to play with different materials, colours and textures, eliminate screen time and find enjoyment in a hands-on class, where you can connect with others, explore new art experiences and create unique masterpieces. Leave the bits and pieces, the smudges and the mess to us, and look forward to and cherish the beautiful pieces of art your children cannot wait to share with you!
