If you're looking for a new fitness regime, BungeeFIT is a great introduction to all things fitness, especially for those who are looking at a fun and low impact workout as the bungee takes the pressure off and is more comfortable on the joints too. Another benefit of BungeeFIT is that it burns calories and assists in weight loss! It tests your cardiovascular endurance and coordination aswell.
For an appropriate fit to your harness and bungee apparatus, your trained bungee instructor, Melanie Dobrovoljni will adjust these to suit your individual weight, height and fitness level. This ensures that your workout is as safe as it is effective for you. It is recommended that you talk to your general practitioner/specialist prior to commencing any new fitness regime or if you have any health concerns that may be effected during a BungeeFIT session. If you have any of the following health considerations, it is not recommended that you attend a BungeeFIT session -
○ recent injury
○ recent surgery
○ pregnancy
○ spinal/back injury
○ vertigo
○ glaucoma
○ botox
○ cardiac/heart related conditions
○ low or high blood pressure
○ previous stroke
○ migraines

Each new attendee must attend the Beginner BungeeFIT session to learn the knowledge and skill you need to know to master BungeeFIT including the bungee system - harness, bungee apparatus and to learn and adhere to the safety precautions and how to undergo the exercises safely. No matter what your fitness level is, everyone's first initial BungeeFIT session at The Warehouse, Colac will be the Beginner BungeeFIT session. Each attendee must undertake at least six Beginner BungeeFIT Sessions, prior to booking the next level.
Each session is 45 minutes, starting with set up and rigging of the bungee apparatus, a warm up which then leads into the learnings of new exercises and techniques and how to execute these correctly. These moves will then be placed in a sequence which will involved bursts of dance movements that will continually be ran and this is where the cardio of the session kicks in!
The more advanced you get, the harder the movements and technique become.

WHAT TO WEAR :
Be sure to wear fitted workout clothing, padded bike shorts or leggings are recommended as the harness can give a constant deep tissue massage surrounding the groin area. Please wear socks and sneakers and don't forget your drink bottle. *Please note, you will be required to complete a questionaire/waiver prior to your first BungeeFIT session, where you will need to provide your height and weight so that your bungee system can be set up to suit you specifically. There is a weight range of 52kg - 125kg.
